What do taxpayers think about the DOCA for our National Airline?

Was it the only solution ?
I am just thinking aloud and joining the many so-called x-perts on Air Mauritius. There are so many of them waxing lyrical now on what should and should not be done !
-the very ones who were involved in the haemorrhage of our “Paille-en-Queue” to turn it into mere “pailles”,
-the very ones who had benefited from the famous “caisse noire” to the detriment of our national airline,
-the very ones who were kicked out by previous regimes fo their incompetence and for other more hidden horrors that were emerging from the vaults which had to be neatly swept under the carpet,
-the very ones who were vegetating on the Board of directors and responsible for the hedging saga;
-the very ones who were guilty of approving the policies that were against the best interests of Air Mts ;
-the very ones who have been interfering directly with the running of the Company
-the very ones who had proposed the Asia-Africa Corridor ,
-the very ones who could but did not raise their little fingers to put a stop to the mismanagement that was leading Air Mts to bankruptcy.
They are all commenting now-these very ones who are making the headlines, one more knowledgeable than the other- who had squandered the many opportunities to set things right -are now proposing the very things that they have always conspicuously failed at doing.
I thought of joining the fray - another idiot added to the all-knowing ones would not do much harm!
The administrators had succeeded in downsizing our airline company , ignoring the human cost, to give it a more lean and flexible look and forced the creditors to accept a haircut (and before they bungled into selling some of the assets) and now seemingly back from the brink , was our national airline not ready for concrete proposals from a strategic partner ?
If not , why ?
Why should we taxpayers be again le “ dindon de leur farce” ? The farce is that mega-structure -"Airport Holdings" - another fiasco in the making !!! A DOCA that has more holes than Swiss cheese !
Why do we taxpayers have to continue to bear the cost of another doomed enterprise ?
Another 12 billion rupees loan -too good a morsel to pass up- going done the drain !!!
