Irresponsible posting by an irresponsible person!

" Narendra Modi described Mauritius as "Little India". Why did India almost invade Mauritius in 1983? This might happen in 2020" (sic) posted in "Sel Solution Revolution"

U should see the postings that follow, how easily it has flared up people -a carte blanche for the zealots to show their pettiness-where are the administrators of this site ? !!! He knew what he was doing and you can easily make them out, such people , they hide behind their superficial coatings of Mauritianism to diffuse their divisive ploys. It is disgusting!!!
To which i replied, "Irresponsible posting by an irresponsible person who may have other designs. Of course , we’ll stand up to all of them. They- France, US, China, India, Pakistan,...(which had till recently an ISIS guy as ambassador here) are here playing their political games as they do elsewhere in the Maldives, Madagascar,Sri Lanka etc. it is not a question of little India? Are you aware that there are countries who have had their design on Rodrigues ?
It is more about spheres of influence given that we are well positioned-vital sea routes for maritime trade and sea-borne oil and to the resource-rich Antarctic . If India is really bothered about its little India, why is it giving us such a hard time in the GBC sector?
We should not allow such irresponsible posting deviate us from our aim of kicking all of them out of our territories- Diego, Tromelin and Agalega . We should be asking Govt to make public the undisclosed agreement with India on Agalega and continue our fight to get back Diego and Tromelin.
That should be our focus, not these insidious covertly divisive postings that plays to identity politics, trying to bind us when we allow it to imprison us ; but equally it remains a lie when actually we’re free to choose our identities at will !!! We believe that any hopes for human improvement are better served by encouraging a recognition of universal human interests than by pitting group against group in a zero-sum competition.
I have chosen to be a Mauritian. Are you ? I doubt it !!!"
