Frustrated by a lack of institutional momentum or systemic inaction ("seeing that nothing was happening"), our whisleblower gathered additional information and escalated the matter directly to one of the advisers to the then
And Paul Bรฉrenger has explicitly acknowledged during his regular press conferences that he was consistently updating his party members on ongoing developments , especially on the activities of the Gang of 5 or more at the PMO.
Party members thus cannot claim they were kept in the dark if the leader publicly stated that transparency was his regular practice.
The MMM Gang of 15 and the ReA could not say "We didn't know." Instead, they were admitting, "We knew, but we independently decided it wasn't important enough to act upon because there were insufficient proof, not enough of evidence to launch an investigation."
What happens now ?
Does the argument of it all being mere hearsay, just a tip-off still stand ?
Will they now be demanding for an independent investigation on the allegation of the existence of a highly organized corruption and extortion network at the PMO (demanding Rs 350 million in exchange for political or official influence related to the controversial Mamy Ravatomanga money-laundering case) ?
