Second thoughts about voting today !

Why ?
What am I voting for? - for another 120-0.
For Alliance du Changement !
Ki Sanzman !
In their manifesto , they had promised that there will be a “ Révision de la Local Gouvernement Act pour une meilleure gestion de nos villes et villages afin de mieux répondre aux attentes de la population. “
Public Enquiries Bill enn priorité , pa lor komans diskisyons lor the drafting of a Local Government Act !
Voting just for the sake of voting does not make sense!
We had expected that the Alliance du Changement would have started dicussions on “ une meilleure gestion de nos villes et villages’ before going ahead with the Municipal Elections. We do not want it to be a one-way traffic, a top down approach , another "Assises de l’Éducation" which turned out to be more of a show rather than a quest for "un système à visage humain ".
Modern town management focuses on creating sustainable, resilient, and inclusive communities through smart technologies, innovative urban planning, and a focus on social equity and environmental sustainability. This demands citizen engagement, integrated systems, and a proactive approach to addressing urban challenges, namely
-Sustainability and respect for the environment. ...
-Intelligent mobility and transport. ...
-Smart Technologies, Digitalisation and intelligent infrastructure. ...
-Flexible public spaces. …
-Social Equity
-Citizen Engagement,
-Integrated Systems
-Innovative Urban planning
-Data-driven decision-making
……
Urban management, encompasses all planning, administrative and regulatory activities aimed at optimizing the operation of cities and improving the quality of life of their inhabitants. It involves the coordination of various players, including the State, local authorities, technical and financial partners, and the population.
If Alliance du Changement had initiated the discussions on a Local Government Act, being drafted with the collaboration of the various stakeholders (without any partisanship whatsoever) , I would have been in a better position to know what I was voting for !
