Le Chairman d'Air Mauritius, Kishore Beegoo, été l'invité de Nawaz Noorbux ce jeudi après-midi...
It looks so to a casual observer if we keep having such one-man show/ interviews, without any pertinent queries about a public entity that is funded by the state; no phone in from the public during the programme was allowed or made possible? All planned ? To whose benefit? Le Défimedia should enlighten us.
Everytime it is the same story with MK, it’s all because of the inept management of the previous team that has been allowed to carry on unchecked for years. Now we start again with another “political nominee” at the helm , blaming one and all on the "other one "...
This kind of progammed interviews, this one way traffic , are designed to lull LePep into a new formidable cohort of followers and cheerleaders and deny us the opportunity to hit back, to compel them to have a hard look at the facts and react to the frivolous statements, the futile rhetoric and its inadequacies.
Leadership or management or any such position of responsibility is supposed to be about more than cheering your team, ignoring and avoiding the other side- the dissenting side- that has freed itself from that horrible urge to always fit in and dares to think differently especially those who are equally versed on the ins and outs of Air Mauritius . It’s supposed to be about taking Air Mts to new heights, taking everyone on board, and not seeing any kind of criticism as just malicious and hostile. I do not think that Mr Beegoo is of that ilk.
Why is Mr Beegoo so scared of facing some of our outspoken high priests of the aviation business ? Is it because they are likely to grill him on the business relations of his company Cargotech with MK. Is this not a case of conflict of interest? The comparison to Rogers does not hold water when we know that Rogers was a fully fledged shareholder of MK . The interviewer did not really fact check him on that.
