Recent Currency Movements and Exports Subsidies !
Since the beginning of April 2025 to 16 April 2025, the US Dollar has fallen by about 4.5% against other currencies, as measured by the US Dollar Index, shown in the first graph below.

With the introduction of the Public Inquiries Bill, the stated objective is evident : to thoroughly modernise the public enquiry system. However behind this legal reform, two sensitive commissions of enquiry will be abruptly halted, raising questions and criticism.
