The Air Mts Saga !

Sometime back I had taken up these statements, quite relevant in the present context, from a recent interview of Raj Ramlagun on Air Mts.
Everytime it is the same story with MK, it’s all because of the inept management of the previous team that has been allowed to carry on unchecked for years. Now we start again with another “political nominee” at the helm , blaming one and all on the "other one “ . And he comes forward with his short term figures on the return to profitability , closely linked to the significant or insignificant improvements he has made to Air Mts services over the short period he had taken control of MK.
What lies behind these figures ? Can we sustain these in the long run? 𝘛𝘰 𝘸𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘦𝘹𝘵𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘢𝘷𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘣𝘭𝘦 𝘵𝘳𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘪𝘯 𝘧𝘶𝘦𝘭 𝘱𝘳𝘪𝘤𝘦𝘴, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘧𝘭𝘶𝘤𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘹𝘤𝘩𝘢𝘯𝘨𝘦 𝘳𝘢𝘵𝘦, 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘱𝘪𝘤𝘬 𝘶𝘱 𝘪𝘯 𝘵𝘰𝘶𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘵 𝘢𝘳𝘳𝘪𝘷𝘢𝘭𝘴 , 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘮𝘢𝘴𝘴𝘪𝘷𝘦 𝘵𝘦𝘮𝘱𝘰𝘳𝘢𝘳𝘺 𝘤𝘶𝘵𝘴 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘰𝘵𝘩𝘦𝘳 𝘧𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘰𝘳𝘴 𝘸𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘪𝘯𝘴𝘵𝘳𝘶𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵𝘢𝘭 𝘪𝘯 𝘪𝘮𝘱𝘳𝘰𝘷𝘪𝘯𝘨 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘴𝘪𝘵𝘶𝘢𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯 𝘢𝘵 𝘔𝘒 ?
And there is a lot of confusion on a proper approach to the issue of a strategic partner for MK ! We do not seem to be ready to examine all the possibilities including giving priority to approaching the negotiations from a position of strength.
Et on prend les mêmes et on recommence.
Let us hope the best for MK in terms a strong and visionary leadership and good governance.
Let us hope that we will not ultimately end up with this famous dictum “le dindon de la farce, c'est toujours nous, les taxpayers !"
