Some of the Govt people, and the new chatwas, seem to be irritated by our criticism of some budget measures . There have been some accusations that many of us derive a “kick” from the clickbait of our social platform exerting a disproportionate and undeserved influence over shaping, or rather distorting, the national narrative.

This is what happens when a  Govt, his ministers , senior and junior,  are more interested  in their usual show in National Assembly then engaging in a permanent dialogue with LePep…a LePep, used to the past ten years of cheap populism and welfarism, who is likely to be easily unsettled by rapid social change and bold reforms .

It’s not a Budget for this fiscal year, for the short term; it’s rather a vision statement, without implementation plans, but with the promise of possible attainable goals not before 2035 at the earliest. It lacks the foundation to build a bridge to the future and contains too many gaps to ensure a safe and solid path to a better future.
