One of our top economist cum political activist posted a narrative about
the players of the England football team instructed to raise their arms to
give the Nazi "Heil Hitler" salute before a match in Berlin on 14 May 1938.
One of the players, Stan Cullis, refused to carry out the salute and was
dropped from the team
In this very month, 82 years latter, such an authoritarian regime is putting
up a draconian law-the Covid Bill . How many of our MPs will stand up ,like Stan
Culls, against the Covid Bill .?

They are using Covid-19 as an excuse; a whole fictional catastrophic
scenario has been mounted amplifying the scale of the economic impact of
coronavirus -that the reductions in GDP during the current outbreak will
likely exceed such and such figures, every day new higher figures of
unemployment are being released and the economic revival package for the
economy estimated to be more than 10% of GDP when most economies , as badly
hit as ours, are spending around 5% of GDP!!!
Why are they not transparent about the figures ?
It is only starting to become clear why the government policy responses are
needing such drastic measures and such huge resources.!!!
Because they could not have had a better opportunity to force the workers to
fall in line with the corporates, (Business Mauritius dictates the
terms),raid the state coffers , turn the BOM into a rubber stamp, print the
amount of money they want and plunder at their will before turning the
economy into a Sub-Saharan basket-case.
Some have already dared to coin out the following: " SAJ le père du Miracle
Economique mais PJ père de la Faillite Economique"
